The U.N. Convention on the Rights of The Child promises all sorts of things. Together they mean that every child can blossom into a fulfilled adult with a bright future.

An amazing education is, or should be, one of those puzzle pieces. Sometimes we have to do things a little differently to make the pieces fit. The Complete Works knows that and is happy to be different.

Our young people need to be supported in so many ways as they navigate growing up. Winston’s Wish was established in 1992 to support children at times of trauma. It’s thankfully one of those that has survived the UK’s financial roller coaster. It works in partnership with families and the community to provide comfort and care for our most vulernable. Thank heavens!

As part of the BBC Contains Strong Language Festival Coventry 2021, Coventry Libraries and Coventry UK City of Culture 2021 are supporting these two exciting roles:

Coventry Poet Laureate – 18 years and older on 31 August 2021
Coventry Young Poet Laureate – 13 years or older and under 18 years old on 31 August 2021
The winners were announced on Thursday 23 September 2021, and are:

Emilie Lauren Jones – Coventry Poet Laureate and Hawwa Hussain – Coventry Young Poet Laureate
